Four friends banded together with the common goal of channeling their love of doom/sludge metal, loud volumes, beer and dark folklore yielding the colossal beast that is Kannon. Originally called Engine – an allusion to the characteristics of their sound concerning individual instruments/parts combining in function to produce walls of skullcrushing doom.
